Our Founder
Hommes Masonry Inc, operating under the name Toltec Construction, began its remarkable journey in 1999, thanks to a serendipitous introduction to the construction industry by the son of his former boss. Responding to this unexpected opportunity, Homar Jaimes initially worked as a laborer, then transitioned to a forklift operator, and ultimately embraced the craftsmanship of masonry through a rigorous apprenticeship program.
In just a few years, his dedication, skill, and tenacity allowed him to bid on and successfully secure his first small project. His ability to deliver quality work on time and with an unwavering commitment to safety earned him the trust and confidence of his clients, setting the stage for future opportunities. Recognizing the potential for growth, he officially incorporated his burgeoning business in 2003 and achieved the status of a Certified Building Contractor by 2008.
Throughout the next decade, Toltec Construction flourished, obtaining essential minority certifications with various city and county agencies, bonding numerous projects, and playing an integral role in several initiatives within the Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) system. Our company’s continued growth is fueled by the invaluable support of these agencies and the dedication of our employees, who embody the principles of integrity and excellence in service that have defined our organization for over 25 years.
